Children's Dentistry

The American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend that a child’s first visit to the dentist take place at age one or within six months of the first tooth eruption. The first visit is called a "happy visit" and is meant to be a positive first experience for the child in a dental setting with a review of good oral hygiene habits. As a parent, you may feel nervous about how your child may do, but the staff at Covell Family Dental love children and are dedicated to making visits as stress free and comfortable as possible.
